    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Graco, you will join a design team to work on new product development and support our standard product team. You will build a versatile skillset by designing both hardware and software. This role requires daily on-site presence for lab work, project meetings, and design discussions.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in new product development by solving problems, performing design analysis, and running tests to optimize performance.
    • Contribute to electrical hardware and software design, including embedded firmware, control algorithms, circuit boards, and battery management systems.
    • Support the standard product team by troubleshooting field failures and determining root causes.
    • Develop, qualify, and implement technical solutions for existing products.
    • Consult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issues.
    • Create and execute product qualification plans.
    • Conduct analysis of Graco and competitive products.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
    • Strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
    • Initiative to learn industry and project requirements.
    • Experience with programming languages such as C, C+, and Python.
    • Knowledge of electrical circuit design, specifically using Altium designer.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located on-site in Dayton, Minnesota.
    • This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
