About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bloomington, Minnesota. You will work on-site with our technical writing team to support the creation and maintenance of product documentation.
What you'll do#
- Learn how we organize modern technical information delivery systems.
- Develop new materials in collaboration with the technical writing team.
- Review and edit both text-based and graphic-based documentation.
- Verify existing materials for clarity and accuracy by reviewing them against actual machinery.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Technical Communications at an accredited university. Completion of junior-level coursework is preferred.
- You can stay organized and work with Microsoft Office, Arbortext, and common graphics programs without much direction.
- You have a strong desire to learn, collaborate, and communicate effectively in a team setting.
- Preference is given to candidates with experience in step-by-step instruction development, graphic arts, or an understanding of basic industrial machine functions like mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
