About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern at Graco, you will join a design team to work on both new product development and existing standard products. You will build a versatile skillset by working on hardware and software projects, including embedded firmware, control algorithms, circuit board design, battery management, and user interface development. This on-site position requires daily interaction with your team for lab work, project meetings, and design discussions.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to electrical hardware and software design.
- Apply engineering skills to solve technical problems and optimize performance through testing.
- Assist with design analysis and root cause testing.
- Determine the root cause of product failures in the field.
- Develop, qualify, and implement solutions to identified problems.
- Consult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issues.
- Troubleshoot existing standard products and execute qualification plans.
- Conduct analysis of Graco and competitive products.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C+, and Python.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, specifically using Altium Designer.
- Initiative to learn industry and project requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
