About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with electrical systems for golf, sports fields, and siteworks product lines. You will work under the supervision of an electrical engineer on individual projects. The role involves a mix of testing, validation, and troubleshooting to support our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate electrical components and verify specifications with vendors.
- Create and perform integration tests in a lab environment.
- Build and modify prototype electrical harnesses.
- Use CANbus data to diagnose issues or evaluate machine performance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to assist in troubleshooting.
- Collaborate across departments to evaluate designs and resolve machine issues.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Currently in good academic standing, with a preference for students entering their Junior or Senior year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and knowledge of basic electrical components.
- Familiarity with CANbus communication protocols is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
