About the role#
As a Finance Intern, you will support program financial performance by maintaining data integrity and managing forecasting processes. You will work with program stakeholders to ensure financial goals are understood and met. This role involves using SAP and Cobra toolsets to track program metrics and baseline budgets.
What you'll do#
- Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity across multiple programs.
- Forecast program performance metrics, including profitability and cash flow.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis.
- Create and update project files in SAP.
- Ensure Estimate at Completion (EAC) accuracy for assigned efforts.
- Prepare Integrated Program Management Report deliverables.
- Review variance reports with Control Account Managers.
- Create and maintain program baseline budgets.
- Provide support for internal and external program audits.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
Location & details#
- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours worked over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Term: Rolling.
