About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on a variety of tasks across multiple aircraft platforms. This role follows a 9/80 schedule, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings, coordinating with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet design requirements.
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems directly on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.
