About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design and develop systems for integrating electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on a variety of tasks across multiple aircraft platforms, including supporting system testing and integration.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, control panels, and circuit breaker panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements at the lowest cost.
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Proficiency or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
