About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft. You will work on a variety of tasks across multiple aircraft platforms and ground stations. The role involves a 9/80 work schedule, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements.
- Develop avionics systems, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution systems.
- Support the testing and integration of systems directly on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, such as NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.
