About the role#
This internship focuses on order management and customer delivery coordination. You will work with teams across Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to support ship and bill non-project orders. This role provides hands-on experience in managing backlogs, processing returns, and updating internal systems to ensure customer requirements are met.
What you'll do#
- Monitor backlog, open commitments, and return material reports.
- Process RMA requests, debits, credits, and restocking fees.
- Confirm that shipping terms match purchase orders and adjust as needed.
- Update On-Time Delivery and Customer Request Date information in the MRP system.
- Maintain projected ship dates in the MRP system and notify Manufacturing of any changes.
- Meet established delivery requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.
Location & details#
- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site role. The team follows a 9/80 schedule, which consists of 80 hours worked over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Terms: This is a paid internship with rolling start dates.
