About the role#
As an RF/Wireless Engineer Intern, you will work on complex products including electro-optical, opto-mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems. You will work under the close supervision of senior staff, following established procedures and specific instructions to ensure project requirements are met.
What you'll do#
- Prepare component drawings and technical specifications.
- Support engineering and purchasing teams with part selection and material procurement.
- Create nonstandard part and material submittals.
- Work with internal and external labs to interpret test results and define testing protocols to ensure compliance.
- Communicate technical status and issues to program engineers, management, and customers.
- Present analysis results to stakeholders to ensure clear understanding.
- Act as a technical consultant in your area of expertise.
- Review material and component quality documentation, including supplier data and test results.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
- You have completed a Master's degree within the last 12 months.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days, with every other Friday off).
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
