About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship role based in Waco, Texas. You will work on-site as part of a rolling program.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural analysis for aircraft modifications.
- Provide design support for ongoing projects.
- Prepare technical documentation to verify airworthiness.
- Calculate stress levels in aircraft structures, equipment, and systems.
- Predict potential failures and structural instabilities using established failure theories.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at an accredited university.
- A major in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science Engineering.
- Helpful experience includes exposure to CAD or FEA tools, or background in the design and analysis of mechanical structures and systems.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
