About the role#
Liberty University is hiring Enrollment Call Center Agents to join the Online Enrollment Team. You will guide prospective students through the enrollment process for undergraduate and graduate programs. This role involves managing a high volume of calls and inquiries to help students start their academic careers. Please note that your application will be considered for both Admissions Consultant and Admissions Counselor positions.
What you'll do#
- Convert prospective students into qualified applicants for Liberty University Online programs.
- Handle a high volume of outbound calls and incoming inquiries regarding program offerings.
- Counsel students on program fit, admissions requirements, financial aid, and transfer guidelines.
- Answer questions regarding university admission policies and procedures.
- Use information management systems to record student interactions.
- Promote the features and benefits of all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
- Collaborate with support offices to address student concerns.
- Implement feedback from management to improve recruitment processes.
- Identify new ways to enhance student services.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma required. Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Ability to work first or second shifts, rotating Saturdays, and occasional overtime.
- After 8 to 10 weeks of training, you must be available for the 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM shift.
- Ability to sit for extended periods for deskwork.
- A reliable, wired broadband internet connection. Satellite internet providers are not compatible with this role.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position.
- The starting pay rate is $17.50 per hour.
