About the role#
The Washington Fellowship Student Worker supports the program through administrative tasks and campus outreach. This is a part-time position based in Lynchburg, Virginia. Students in this role help professional staff with daily operations and represent the fellowship to the university community.
What you'll do#
- Host weekly information sessions at the Career Center.
- Give classroom presentations to promote the Washington Fellowship.
- Staff tables at career fairs and common areas.
- Greet employers and assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Update spreadsheets and help staff with general office projects.
- Attend meetings and complete ongoing training.
What you'll need#
- Must be a former participant in the Washington Fellowship.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and take initiative.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and move around campus as needed.

- Location: Lynchburg, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling terms.
- Pay: Starting at $12.77 per hour.
