About the role#
The Quality Equity team at Mackenzie Investments manages portfolios focused on durable businesses that compound value over time. The team uses a consistent quality and valuation discipline across various strategies. This internship offers the chance to work directly with portfolio managers on fundamental research and analysis projects.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on individual companies and specific industries.
- Perform financial modeling to support investment decisions.
- Undertake thematic research projects related to current market trends or team holdings.
- Assist with various team projects related to portfolio management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, with plans to return to school after the Summer 2027 term.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Initiative to ask questions and the ability to implement feedback effectively.
- A technology-forward mindset is considered an asset.

- Location: Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: Paid position with an expected annual base salary range of $68,250 to $78,000, prorated for the term.
