About the role#
The Client Experience Department at Mackenzie Investments is looking for an intern for the winter 2027 term. This full-time position runs from January through April. You will report to the AVP of Client Experience & Insights and assist with cross-functional projects aimed at improving the experience for financial advisors and investors. This role provides exposure to service design, CX strategy, and client insights.
What you'll do#
- Support journey mapping activities, including research and insight synthesis.
- Gather and analyze feedback from clients and advisors.
- Track and document CX initiatives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Capture and summarize meeting outcomes and workshop insights.
- Develop internal communication materials and maintain CX documentation like journey libraries and templates.
- Assist with survey development, data analysis, and visual storytelling.
- Explore the use of AI models to streamline workflows and improve processes.
- Support the Client Engagement and Digital Portals teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Data Science.
- You must be returning to school following the completion of this internship.
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the entire duration of the term.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity regarding client insights and experience improvement.
Location & details#
- This role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office.
- This is a paid internship.
