About the role#
Mackenzie Investments is hiring a Business Systems Intern for the Productivity Apps Pod. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through April. You will report to the Lead Business Systems Analyst and focus on the Sales Effectiveness and Productivity portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business processes, systems, data, and delivery workflows.
- Document and validate requirements using user stories.
- Support Agile ceremonies and maintain delivery artifacts like Jira backlogs.
- Perform data analysis, validation, reporting, and model testing.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Assist with issue intake, investigation, and documentation updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or Data Science, with plans to return to school after the term.
- Understanding of Agile ways of working.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Power Apps.

- Location: Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (three days per week in the office).
