About the role#
Join the Global Hedging - Variable and Indexed-Linked Products team as an intern for the Winter 2027 term. This team is part of the Global Asset Liability Management function. You will work within the Strategy group, which identifies risk exposures, designs hedging strategies, and monitors program performance. The role sits at the boundary of front and middle office functions, providing hands-on experience with financial derivatives and risk analysis.
What you'll do#
- Produce aggregate exposure reports to support internal hedging programs.
- Classify individual securities within the internal fund mapping application using Bloomberg and Reuters data.
- Maintain security classification data to ensure it reflects recent corporate actions and market impacts.
- Generate ad-hoc risk exposure reports for mutual funds and exchange traded funds.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, or actuarial science.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
