About the role#
As a CAD Co-op, you will join our team to work on real projects from your first day. You will receive training and handle tasks that contribute directly to the success of our construction projects. This role requires teamwork and initiative as you help prepare drawings for field use.
What you'll do#
- Create and edit shop drawings in Revit using our drafting standards.
- Prepare spool sheets for fabrication using Stratus.
- Dimension and annotate drawings created by designers.
- Draft redline as-built drawings in Revit based on input from project managers and field leaders.
- Produce all required documents in Bluebeam in a timely manner.
- Learn technical drafting skills like layering techniques and pen weights to ensure drawings are clear and legible.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in BIM, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Commitment to complete at least two full-time alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
- Six months of experience using Revit 2022 or higher.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Term: Winter 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Work occurs primarily in an office environment, though occasional jobsite visits may be required. These visits may involve navigating active construction areas and climbing stairs or ladders.
