About the role#
The Human Resources Intern supports daily HR operations while gaining experience in onboarding, recruiting, and employee engagement. You will work with Charlotte teams to improve onboarding processes and provide administrative support across the department. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Prepare new hire materials, orientation resources, and PPE.
- Develop and maintain onboarding checklists, guides, and training tools.
- Meet with department managers to document training needs and create structured onboarding plans.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and greeting candidates.
- Maintain HR trackers, spreadsheets, and calendars.
- Support internship and co-op program activities, including orientation and networking events.
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities and committee logistics.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- You have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and handle confidential information with discretion.
