    About the role#

    As a Design-Build Co-op, you will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world construction projects. You will work alongside project managers, superintendents, and architects to support the design and execution of our work. This role requires you to take ownership of tasks and contribute directly to project success.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the coordination of project design and construction.
    • Read and interpret construction drawings, project documents, and requests for proposals.
    • Help create project schedules and scopes of work.
    • Prepare bid packages and perform quantity take-offs for estimates.
    • Coordinate drawings and schedule expectations with subcontractors.
    • Manage drawing logs, submittals, and shop drawings.
    • Generate contracts, prepare monthly invoices, and issue change-orders.
    • Attend meetings to record minutes and participate in project planning.
    • Conduct daily on-site reporting and create weekly progress reports.
    • Deliver miscellaneous items such as permits and submittals.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Construction Management or Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Prior experience with Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, Procore, or Timberline software is preferred.
    • Access to a vehicle for delivering project documents and permits.
