About the role#
The Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) Yield Technology team supports DRAM research and development. You will work on identifying, analyzing, and reducing manufacturing defects that affect product performance. This role involves partnering with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve process stability and drive data-driven decisions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze experimental process flows and defect inspection data to spot anomalies, find root causes, and support corrective actions.
- Partner with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve yield performance through defect detection and process monitoring.
- Use AI and data analytics tools to automate analysis workflows, identify trends, and generate insights.
- Apply statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to drive improvements and detect manufacturing issues early.
- Present technical findings, recommendations, and project results during team meetings and engineering reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills from coursework, research, projects, or past internships.
- A fundamental understanding of statistics and experimental analysis methods, including DOE concepts.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
