About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within Human Resources and plant operations at the Dewey location. You will contribute to projects, work with cross-functional teams, and build skills in problem solving and communication. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily activities and key projects in HR and plant operations.
- Conduct research, data review, and analysis to help guide business decisions.
- Create reports, presentations, and process documentation.
- Work alongside team members and stakeholders across the organization.
- Find ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Present your project findings and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or completion of a BS in Business, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Office suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to use data to spot trends and inefficiencies.
- Preferred: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement methodology, or time studies in a manufacturing setting.
- Preferred: Prior internship or relevant project experience.
