About the role#
This position coordinates print production and buying for Marketing and Strategic Communications. You will work during the academic year and summer as needed, for approximately 15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage client orders for branded forms like business cards, letterhead, and envelopes.
- Create and maintain process maps for mass orders.
- Administrate the portal ordering system and pull reports for vendor communication.
- Open new projects within the project management software.
- Write purchase orders and spec sheets.
- Communicate project scope to outside vendors.
- Distribute proofs for client review.
- Confirm delivery of finished products and distribute them to clients.
- Label and file forms samples.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student on the Moody Chicago campus.
- Ability to think strategically and critically to improve existing processes.
- A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude when representing the department.
- Conscientious attention to detail while managing multiple tasks at once.
