About the role#
The Commons Student Worker supports daily operations within the Commons. You will work under the direct supervision of the Commons Student Supervisor to maintain the facility and assist guests.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and provide courteous, helpful service.
- Prepare and serve food orders, including grill and sandwich items.
- Keep food display shelves stocked throughout your shift.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in all Commons areas.
- Practice a clean as you go policy, including sweeping floors and wiping counters.
- Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Assist with bussing tables and perform other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time, on-campus student at Moody Bible Institute or Moody Theological Seminary.
- Ability to follow health department and food service standards.
- Experience or comfort with food preparation and serving.
- Capability to operate and clean various kitchen equipment.

- This role is on-site in the United States.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
