About the role#
MORSE Corp is looking for an IT Specialist Co-op to join our technical team in Cambridge. You will assist with IT tasks and projects, including implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting a variety of technology across our infrastructure. This role is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Provide IT helpdesk ticket support.
- Manage onboarding tasks for new employees.
- Operate and manage Poly VTC systems.
- Assist with the rollout and implementation of new systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Support IT project planning and execution.
- Learn about IT security and data protection practices.
What you'll need#
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
- You must be working towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with MacOS X, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- A foundational understanding of networks.
- Experience working with virtual machines and containers.
- Experience with shell scripting on nix systems.
