About the role#
MORSE Corp is looking for a Python Software Engineer Graduate Co-op to help build software that tests, evaluates, and deploys machine learning at scale. You will work on custom software packages and full stack tools for DoD customers. This role involves building data pipelines and supporting software infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
What you'll do#
- Develop custom software packages and full stack applications.
- Build, automate, and optimize big data pipelines for machine learning evaluation.
- Perform backend development for web platforms and handle data engineering tasks.
- Use AWS or Azure tools to improve deployments and manage DevSecOps tasks.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and interact with customers to present your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a MS degree program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Understanding of software application development architectures and version control systems like Git.
- US Citizenship is required, as you must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Experience with Docker and Spark is helpful.
