About the role#
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will support the BI team in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to improve business operations. You will work with various departments to turn data into clear insights. This internship lasts up to 12 weeks and includes project work within our Research Lab Division.
What you'll do#
- Assist in data product modeling using Databricks.
- Develop reports and solutions with BI tools like Power BI to track KPIs and metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and gather requirements.
- Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
- Assist in automating reports and building data pipelines using LLM capabilities.
- Present findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework by the start of the internship.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of database management and data structures.
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
- Coding experience in SQL or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis or machine learning techniques.
