About the role#
The Digital and Operational Excellence Center of Excellence (COE) internship is part of the Future Talent Program. This role supports global initiatives focused on digital transformation, data analytics, and process improvement within the Safety and Environment organization. You will work on projects designed to improve business processes and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Help document business processes, requirements, and standard work.
- Support change management, communications, and training activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or another technical program.
- Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
- Ability to work full time for 10 to 12 weeks.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Ability to receive direction and implement corresponding changes.
- Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in chemical manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions clearly and concisely is preferred.
- Ability to work in a small team is preferred.
