About the role#
We are looking for interns to join the Global Data Management and Standards team within our Research Labs Division. This program offers project-based work over a 10 to 12 week period. It is designed to help you apply your technical skills while gaining professional experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and maintain several databases.
- Support database functions by designing and coding utilities.
- Update and amend existing databases.
- Work closely with team members to solve technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time on-site or in a hybrid capacity for 10 to 12 weeks starting in June 2027.
- Understanding of database management systems, specifically Oracle.
- Experience in database development with PL/SQL and SAS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VB, or C#.
- Experience with web development, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
