About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers a Cooperative education opportunity lasting up to 6 months. You will join the Global Quality Large Molecule Analytical Sciences team, which manages commercial analytical techniques for large molecules. This role provides hands-on experience in a GMP environment and offers a chance to contribute to our large molecule pipeline and existing licensed products.
What you'll do#
- Perform analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct sample testing to support process development and changes.
- Manage analytical software qualifications.
- Carry out laboratory start-up activities, including instrument qualifications and inventory management.
- Document experimentations, including objectives, reagents, procedures, results, and conclusions.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years completed in a B.S. or M.S. program in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Virology.
- Experience with lab equipment such as pipettes, balances, pH meters, biosafety cabinets, or fume hoods.
- Experience in cell culture techniques, attribute testing, or microbial techniques.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical, writing, and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new techniques.
Location & details#
- This position is based in West Point, Pennsylvania, with potential support for Wilmington, Delaware.
- The role is full-time and follows a hybrid work schedule.
- This is a paid co-op position.
