About the role#
Okanagan College is hiring a student assistant to support the Recruitment department and Campus Administration. This role involves assisting with event logistics and representing the college to prospective and current students. This is a paid, non-regular, on-call position for the Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
What you'll do#
- Set up for Campus Information Nights.
- Staff information booths for current students.
- Support local career fairs and other campus recruitment events.
- Lead campus tours for visitors.
- Help with orientation, student appreciation, and student life events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with various computer software applications.
- Prior work experience is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.

- Location: Kelowna, British Columbia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026 through December 31, 2026.
- Preferred majors: Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Psychology.
- Priority is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
