About the role#
This student assistant role supports the Recruitment department and Campus Administration at Okanagan College. You will assist with event logistics and represent the college to prospective and current students. This is a paid, on-site position based in Kelowna for the Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
What you'll do#
- Set up for recruitment events and campus information nights.
- Lead general campus tours for visitors.
- Greet attendees at events and manage check-in processes.
- Staff information booths for current students.
- Support local career fairs and student life events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in various computer software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous work experience is considered an asset.
- Majors in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology are relevant to this work.
