About the role#
As a summer intern on the Survey team, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom experience to real-world projects. You will work alongside experienced surveyors to support our clients. This role requires you to work in various types of terrain and weather conditions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with fieldwork for topographic and boundary surveys.
- Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Complete construction staking tasks.
- Travel to job sites at different stages of construction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving history.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
