    About the role#

    The M&D Operations Planning Intern role is part of the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP). This program supports transitioning military veterans and military spouses as they move into the corporate sector. You will work with corporate leadership and veteran coaches to gain hands-on experience in Manufacturing and Distribution operations. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site.

    What you'll do#

    • Support planning, procurement, and distribution activities for new and existing programs.
    • Manage purchasing tasks and maintain vendor relationships to ensure material availability.
    • Analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
    • Develop and track key performance metrics for purchasing and planning functions.
    • Provide recommendations to management regarding process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on program schedules and demand forecasts.

    What you'll need#

    • A BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Relevant experience or interest in purchasing, supply chain planning, or operations management.
    • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
    • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

    Location & details#

    • Location: United States (On-site).
    • Term: Rolling.
    • Compensation: $30 per hour.
    • Schedule: 40 hours per week.
