About the role#
This is a rolling internship position based in Appleton, Wisconsin. You will support the business through finance processes, including operational, sales, marketing, and financial accounting analysis. You will help complete critical tasks and improve processes by using technology to remove non-value-added work.
What you'll do#
- Support inventory closing processes.
- Maintain accurate standard costs of inventory.
- Review and verify vendor and customer statements.
- Assist with costing trucks and preparing month-end reports.
- Help with Fixed Asset accounting.
- Create Excel files using business metrics.
- Generate reports on operations, inventory movement, and purchasing variances.
- Complete other projects as assigned by your leader.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work year-round, including 40 hours per week during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
