About the role#
Oshkosh Corporation is looking for an Operations Management Intern to support our Vocational segment in Murfreesboro. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027. You will work directly with production management to improve manufacturing processes and support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist production management personnel with daily activities.
- Participate in daily production meetings.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Use value stream mapping to analyze material flow and eliminate waste.
- Help promote and maintain ISO procedures and standards.
- Support continuous improvement projects and 5S initiatives.
- Assist with quality and accuracy in customer order fulfillment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to work on-site in Murfreesboro, TN for the summer of 2027.
