About the role#
Student Assistants at the Pace University Art Gallery gain experience in a professional gallery environment. This on-site role provides exposure to exhibition management, artist support, and daily operations on the NYC campus.
What you'll do#
- Monitor gallery spaces and provide customer service to visitors.
- Assist with the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions.
- Help with exhibition interpretation and research.
- Support public programs and events.
- Perform general duties to keep gallery operations running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Pace University.
- Ability to work in person on the NYC campus.
- Preference is given to Federal Work-Study (FWS) recipients.
- Preference is given to Art or Art History majors and minors or students with a strong interest in the arts.

- The work is on-site.
- This is a paid, part-time student position.
- The schedule is determined in coordination with your supervisor.
