About the role#
The Pace Connect Student Assistant role involves conducting research and outreach for the Pace Connect call center. You will perform tasks such as making calls to students, alumni, and business professionals to complete surveys, polls, and market research. Some assistants are promoted to management roles where they oversee accounting, client relations, data management, and human resources tasks.
What you'll do#
- Conduct outreach calls and research projects for clients.
- Gather data through surveys and market research.
- Prepare reports on research findings.
- Use tools like Skype, Salesforce, and Qualtrics.
- Manage business operations including accounting and client relations if promoted to a manager position.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Pace University.
- A declared major or minor in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and customer service skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Pleasantville, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Goldstein Academic Center.
- Schedule: Pace Connect operates Monday through Thursday, primarily between 5:00pm and 8:00pm, with occasional shifts from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
- Hours: Generally two shifts per week. You may work up to 20 hours per week during school sessions and up to 35 hours per week during breaks.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
