About the role#
Forward Deployed Software Engineers work directly with customers to understand their problems and build technical solutions. You will apply your skills to help organizations use their data to drive impact. Interns are treated like full time engineers, with significant freedom and ownership over their work.
What you'll do#
- Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
- Discuss architecture with fellow engineers and wrangle massive-scale data.
- Code custom web applications and establish strategy for your team.
- Speak with customer executives to understand their needs.
- Take responsibility for real-world projects and outcomes that customers rely on.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- You must be planning on graduating in 2027.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, with 25-50% travel preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with both technical and non-technical individuals.
