About the role#
Forward Deployed Software Engineers work directly with customers to understand their technical problems and build solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that impact critical industries and institutions. This internship offers the resources and mentorship of an established company while maintaining the autonomy of a startup environment.
What you'll do#
- Work in small teams with minimal supervision to own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
- Discuss architecture with fellow engineers and establish strategy for your team.
- Handle large-scale data and code custom web applications.
- Engage with customer executives to understand their needs.
- Take full responsibility for real-world projects and outcomes that our customers rely on.
What you'll need#
- You must be planning to graduate in 2027.
- An engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- A willingness to undergo a US government background investigation, depending on specific project requirements.
