About the role#
This year-long internship offers students the chance to work on critical, real-world problems alongside Palantir engineers. You will join small teams to build software and deliver outcomes for customers. Whether you work as a Forward Deployed Software Engineer or a core Software Engineer, you will be held to the same performance standards as full-time staff and own the end-to-end execution of your projects.
What you'll do#
- Build software and deliver outcomes for customers.
- Architect and build solutions that use business-critical data.
- Apply AI-powered solutions to solve complex problems.
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products.
- Work in small teams with significant ownership of your projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of or a completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with technical tools like data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, or front-end frameworks.
