About the role#
This internship is part of the Risk Accounting and Advisory Services team. You will work on client business needs ranging from internal controls to accounting transactions. The role focuses on helping clients manage growth and mitigate risk through an integrated approach. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Create standardized daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting packages, including trend analysis and KPIs.
- Develop accounting and finance templates for use on future client engagements.
- Assist consulting teams with the implementation of GAAP standards, such as ASC606, ASC842, ASC805, and cash to GAAP conversions.
- Collaborate with consultants and clients to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with internal and external liquidity management reporting requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minor in accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Ability to work hours that may exceed a standard 40-hour week.

- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a focus on in-person collaboration.
- Travel: This position may require local, national, and occasional international travel.
