    About the role#

    As an Independent Risk Management intern, you will join a 10-week program designed to provide real-world experience in the financial services industry. You will work within the risk organization to support the enterprise risk framework. This role involves collaboration with senior management and other risk professionals to maintain the company risk appetite. You will work on business challenges proposed by key stakeholders and gain exposure to segments such as credit risk, operational risk, and technology risk.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform or assist with core group activities to drive business results.
    • Support internal projects, process tasks, and customer interactions.
    • Research, analyze, and report on key components of the risk framework.
    • Participate in networking, mentoring, and social learning activities.
    • Work under supervision to complete assigned tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Recent university or college graduate status.
    • Relevant skills in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
    • Analytical thinking skills.
    • Effective communication abilities.
    • Ability to work under supervision.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
    • Work Modality: On-site and hybrid. Regular time in the office or field is required, with some remote work possible at the manager's discretion.
    • Employment Type: Full time, paid internship.
    • Term: Rolling.
