About the role#
The Technology Development Engineer Intern reports to the Lead Engineer in the Technology Development and Transfer group. You will support new development efforts during a 12 to 13 week internship.
What you'll do#
- Characterize electrical parametric devices using hand probes.
- Perform and evaluate process splits.
- Measure and analyze inline wafer data, including film thickness and critical dimensions.
- Create process characterization documents.
- Support company initiatives such as quality, safety, environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Masters degree program for Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Standing as a Junior or higher.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Completed coursework in Intro to Device Physics or Semiconductor Processing.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- Compensation ranges from $25.50 to $32.20 per hour based on experience and skills.
- Benefits include a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
