About the role#
We are looking for a Design Enablement Intern to join our team in Bloomington. You will work with a mentor to learn the fundamentals of design enablement within the semiconductor industry. This role involves contributing to daily deliveries for both internal and external customers, directly impacting product quality and development.
What you'll do#
- Receive training in PDK related activities.
- Build and maintain EDA and CAD environment scripting and automation.
- Write documentation for your automation and scripting projects.
- Support company goals regarding quality, safety, and environmental management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Standing as a Junior or higher.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Tcl, C-shell, or Perl.
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Coursework in VLSI design, Introduction to Electronics Circuits, IC Fabrication, or computer engineering is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The term is expected to last 12 to 13 weeks.
