About the role#
The International Intern program at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club provides a 12-month placement focused on Food & Beverage or Culinary operations. This on-site role offers hands-on experience in a luxury service environment. You will gain exposure to industry standards while building professional skills through direct mentorship and operational training.
What you'll do#
- Work in frontline roles to gain experience with luxury service standards.
- Participate in rotational job shadowing across various F&B outlets or culinary disciplines.
- Complete a capstone project and present your findings to the property leadership team.
- Engage in both on-the-job and self-paced training modules.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Hospitality, Culinary, or related program.
- Eligibility for a J-1 Visa through an approved sponsor.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents.
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
