About the role#
The Engineering Intern supports the New Product Development team at Process Technology. You will assist with product design, testing, and validation of heating and thermal processing solutions. This role involves gathering data, creating models, and helping turn concepts into finished products.
What you'll do#
- Create and modify 3D component models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collect, analyze, and present engineering test data using Excel and graphical tools.
- Assist with the assembly, testing, and evaluation of prototypes.
- Help troubleshoot technical problems and identify process improvements.
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of laboratory testing equipment.
- Collaborate with team members while managing your own assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering program.
- Ability to create and modify 3D models and drawings.
- Proficiency in Excel and graphical reporting software.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical design and electrical testing.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
