About the role#
As an Engineering Intern, you will support the New Product Development team at Process Technology. You will assist with the design, testing, and validation of heating and thermal processing solutions. This role involves hands-on work with prototypes and helps turn concepts into finished products.
What you'll do#
- Assemble, test, and evaluate new product prototypes and components.
- Collect and analyze test data using Excel and graphical reporting tools to inform engineering decisions.
- Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks.
- Assist the engineering team with troubleshooting and identifying ways to improve products and processes.
- Maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment when working with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Manage assigned projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional team members.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel and graphical reporting software.
- Experience creating and editing 3D models in SolidWorks.
- A solid understanding of mechanical design, electrical testing, and manufacturing processes.
- The ability to solve technical problems and work independently.

- This position is based on-site in Willoughby, Ohio.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
