About the role#
This internship is part of the High Performance Analog division. You will work within the Radio Frequency and Analog Products design organization to support both Defense and Aerospace and Infrastructure business units. You will contribute to the design and analysis of RF modules used in cellular base stations, radar, satellite, and GPS systems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your team to produce design schematics and simulations.
- Use signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to characterize hardware.
- Compare simulated data against real lab data.
- Maintain detailed design documentation and follow established design flows.
- Account for size, cost, footprint, and schedule requirements during the design process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program for Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Completion of upper-level RF analog circuit design and Electromagnetics courses.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Working knowledge of radio systems.
- Experience with RF design tools such as ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Dynamic Link, Python, Spotfire, or Matlab.
