About the role#
As an Events Intern, you will work with marketing, sales, product teams, and PR to manage the planning, production, and execution of company events. You will help track event goals, draft marketing content, and analyze metrics to improve the attendee experience and return on investment. This role requires you to act as a marketer to distribute brand messaging and awareness.
What you'll do#
- Assist with pre-event discovery, planning, and promotion.
- Drive weekly pre-event meetings and prepare planning presentations.
- Manage event logistics including printing, shipping, and staffing.
- Oversee the purchasing, packing, and distribution of event supplies.
- Analyze data to report on event impact and inform future content or promotion decisions.
- Conduct research on markets, competitors, products, and campaigns.
- Build and distribute status reports and post-event trip reports.
- Coordinate social media scheduling and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, data analytics, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience in event marketing.
- Demonstrated success in project management or event marketing.
- Ability to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort level with Tableau.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in marketing B2B technology products is preferred.
